Plain English summary: Setup and deployment fees are non-refundable once work begins. If BVG cannot deliver a working system after you have provided everything required, you can request a refund under the condition below. We do not guarantee business outcomes.
1. Setup Fees
Setup and deployment fees are non-refundable once work has commenced. Work is considered commenced upon BVG beginning any provisioning, configuration, or deployment activity — including server setup, credentials installation, or onboarding steps initiated by BVG.
By submitting payment, you acknowledge that BVG begins incurring deployment costs immediately and that the setup fee compensates for that work regardless of whether you complete the engagement.
2. Standard Engagement Refund Condition
For standard paid engagements, a refund of the first-month retainer only (not the setup fee) may be requested if both of the following are true:
- BVG has not delivered a working deployment within 10 business days of receiving payment
- The client has provided all required access, credentials, API keys, and onboarding inputs within a reasonable time after being requested
A "working deployment" means: (a) Theo is installed and accessible on your environment, and (b) at least one successful automated action has been completed. Delays caused by incomplete, incorrect, or withheld client inputs do not qualify for a refund.
This is the sole refund condition for standard engagements. Requests must be submitted in writing to info@businessvelocitygroup.com within 5 business days of the 10-business-day deadline passing.
3. Beta Pilot Engagements
The $500 beta pilot fee is non-refundable once deployment work has commenced. The fee covers system provisioning, configuration, deployment work initiated immediately upon payment, and 14-day access to the Theo Starter system once deployed.
- No recurring billing is created during the pilot period
- The pilot fee is not a deposit or credit toward any future agreement
- At the end of 14 days, the system pauses automatically; no data is deleted
- Continuation requires a separate written agreement
4. No Outcome Guarantees
BVG does not guarantee any specific business results. The following are explicitly not guaranteed:
- Revenue or revenue growth
- Lead volume or lead quality
- Booked appointments or conversion rates
- Customer response rates or engagement metrics
Refund requests based solely on dissatisfaction with business outcomes — rather than a failure to deliver a working deployment — will not be honored. Fees are compensation for deployment services, not for business results.
