Why BVG exists
A business should become an asset—not several jobs under a new label.
Bert Benton founded Business Velocity Group around a simple belief: a business should be an asset that grows under its own power—not another job, or several jobs, under a new label.
Bert is building Theo, a supervised AI reasoning and execution system, as the internal operating capability behind BVG’s work. His focus is practical: understand the business, identify the primary constraint, challenge assumptions, rank the highest-value moves, and create work the owner can review and use.
BVG does not begin with a promise that every business needs more software or more automation. It begins with evidence. Sometimes the right answer is a clearer process, a better handoff, stronger follow-up, or an existing tool used correctly. When AI can create real leverage, BVG scopes it carefully, keeps consequential decisions human-controlled, and measures what changed.
Bert’s role is to connect business context, research, operational judgment, and supervised AI into one decision-ready process—without pretending an unverified idea is a result.
